Overview
"The Woman's Access to Justice Online Conference" was a pivotal project that I led with a focus on executing a comprehensive Twitter and Instagram campaign in October 2021.
This international event, organized by the Council of Europe and the European Union, was a significant initiative aimed at advancing the standards set by the Istanbul Convention. Its primary objective was to provide a platform for a more inclusive and informed approach to addressing gender-based violence, making a profound impact on societal change.
Prior to this, a collaboration was forged with American cartoonist and author Liana Finck to curate powerful visual content resonating with the theme and values of the event. Notably, one of these illustrations became the central piece for the official conference banner, infusing a fresh perspective and adding depth to the project.
My Responsibilities
Collaboration with Liana Finck
In a remarkable partnership, I worked closely with artist Liana Finck to curate powerful visual content that resonated with the event's core themes. One of Liana's illustrations emerged as the central piece for the official conference banner, infusing the project with a fresh perspective and depth.
Artistic Direction
I played a key role in shaping the visual identity of the event, including the selection of illustrations that adorned the studio as the backdrop for the live conference projection. Additionally, I was responsible for determining the color schemes and animations that harmonized with the event's theme and values.
I spearheaded a dynamic social media campaign that aimed to raise awareness about the conference, engage with the online audience, and facilitate easy access for viewers to participate remotely.
Key Achievements
In this project, I played a pivotal role in amplifying the voices advocating for gender equality. Beyond orchestrating a successful social media campaign, I collaborated with the eminent artist Liana Finck, infusing the project with a powerful visual narrative that resonated deeply with the values of feminism. This endeavor not only showcased my proficiency in digital communication but also emphasized the potent synergy between visual storytelling and advocacy.
